I'm watching MSNBC on my computer right now, they've confirmed that he is dead and the US has his body. Honestly, I've never in my life been so happy that someone is dead.

Does this mean we can get out of every war we are in?  Save our troops lives and stop spending too much money on bombs?

 :'(  Not likely.

Why?

Why am I watching or why am I glad he's dead?

And do I really need to answer either question? How many people has he killed over the years? Not to mention we can now stop bombing Pakistan to pieces.

A capture would have been nicer, but dead is far better than out there...

Mod. Edit: Please watch the unnecessary name calling.  Changing someone's screen name so you can insult them is ridiculously childish.

Of course not, but this is still huge.  At least people pushing for war can no longer use "finding bin Laden" as justification for military intervention.  Dang...and I thought the administration had long given up on the stated purpose for invading Afghanistan.  Still processing this.

No, it won't...just like Obama releasing his birth certificate will not put an end to those conspiracy theories.  Any attempt to "debunk" a conspiracy theory is just used as more proof of the conspiracy.  My prediction: the 9/11 Truthers will say that Bin Laden was a scapegoat and he was killed so he couldn't talk.
