Just placed an order for a half/half combo-sweet potato pizza at my local GS Supermarket.

One could choose from cheese, combo, bulgogi or sweet potato or do half-half.  They were 11,500-13,500.

I think they just started in the past week.  I'll let you know later how it is.
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me.

GS Supermarket pizza was pretty good.  It left my girlfriend and me stuffed with some leftover.  About as good as Costco, I would say.  Crust is thinner and not as much sauce.

A good buy.

Hmmm, in my expereicen you don't get what you pay for in korea. etang etc.. seem better, at least as good, as the far more pricey US brands
Right,Etang used to be my favorite Korean Pizza until this happened with Emart and Lotte.

Don't know if it's still in business but there was Boston Pizza (no relation to the NA chain) near Gubendari station in Gangdong a few years ago.  It was truly better than COSCO, I swear it.

Welcome to Dave's  ::)

Come on, now.  Let's talk about pizza.

I think I've seen a pizza chain trying to do the big cheap pizza.  Young Cho's maybe.  Anyone try it?

If anything, this is probably good news.  I don't see how more pizza available in more places could possibly be a bad thing.

Does it really matter anymore?  I mean, anywhere you go in this world now, every store is starting to look ALL the same. Same box-store, same products, same branding/advertising, same everything.  All this conformity is rather quite disturbing.  Our world is being groomed into a cookie-cutter, box-store, existence.

It's the same with all the movie theaters and the sporting venues.  Remember the old buildings with their own unique character and feel? (KC, Det, NY, MIL, etc.).  So it's no surprise when it comes to pizza.

I see your point.But here in Korea it really DOES matter.Even that generic pizza you speak of is WAYYYY better than a usual Korean style pizza.Also, it's great not having to pay 20 sometimes 30 bucks for a pizza at one of the chains which isn't even as big!

P.S. And for those people saying this news isn't important.Again we are talking about pizza.Comparing it to other news is apples and oranges.Of course it's not as important as Bin Laden's death.Who said it was?Let's get back to talking about pizza.I have read some great contributions and learned about a few new places too.

E-Mart pizza is the worst pizza I have ever had.  Sauce tastes horrible, crust is plain bread.  For a few won more I will order Pizza E'tang.
