Simple Game for practicing directions & Prepositions from the first period:
Left, right, straight, behind, next to, between
As the students to stand up and explain to them that when you say:
Left - they shuffle to the left
Right - they shuffle to the right
Straight - they step forward
Behind - they turn around to face behind them
Next to - find a partner
Between - find two partners
Rules:
1.If you're late to do an action, you're out of the game.
2.If you don't find a partner, you're out of the game.
3. If you go the wrong direction, you're out of the game.
My kids loved it and had a great laugh!
