Thank you for your material..^^

This is a worksheet for dictation.
It's not that hard, so students can fill the blanks easily.

This material is for role-play.

5 students in a group can do this. (4 characters and  1 director)

Here is a ppt to help introduce different locations.  Each one has three clues to what it is and at the end we used it like a memory game where each table had to go around saying one of the locations.

Hey all!  I was a heavy contributer to the Mediafire site before it crashed and burned, but I stll have all the old files for games/ppts/etc and will try to upload as often as possible.  I am teaching middle school now, so not sure what is happening in Elementary these days.  If you have a specific request for a gam eor PPT for grades 3-6 PM me and I will see what I can do.

For anything having to do with directions, I highly suggest whereswaldo.com.
What I do is teach the kiddos up, down, left, right, north south, between, over, etc.. and then I go to whereswaldo.com, find Waldo ahead of time so I know exactly where he is, and the have the students point you in the right direction using nothing bu the english phrases they learned. They can't leave their chairs for this   (the kids in the back can move up closer to see the screen) because if they point out waldo before the other kids find him then it's not quite fair.. It's a fun game. They have 4 different scenes with varying levels of difficulty, plus a list of like 50 or so different items to find in each scene in case you want to expand their noun vocabulary.

This should work very well for 'Where is Anna's doughnut shop' lesson from the newer text book.
