Please note that I haven't used this lesson yet, so I am not quite sure how it will pan out, but since I put so much effort into putting together the lesson plan, I thought that I would share it.

This is a lesson for my winter camp. The topic is stories. Part of this lesson plan came from Brian's lesson about the Hare and the Tortoise, which can be found here: http://waygook.org/index.php/topic,572.0.html. My lesson will involve a discussion about what stories the students grew up listening to, a brief discussion about Aesop and fables in general (what they are, why people read them), listening to the story of the Hare and the Tortoise, putting together the pieces of the story in the right order, filling in blanks about what happened in the story (the pieces being taken away before that point), a comprehension about the story, listening to the story of the Frogs and the Well and answering questions about the story, playing a game where each person says one sentence and the next person must continue the story and writing your own story from a list of subjects.

This lesson should take around 90 minutes. I have attached the lesson plan, the two story, the blank worksheet, the comprehension and the list of subject suggestions.

This is great, thanks. I used inspiration for this to do a lesson on fables for my elementary school. However, I showed a Youtube video of the story first, so they had a better understanding of the plot. Thanks again!
