Grade Five Resources
« on: March 26, 2010, 05:46:40 PM »
I know there are YouTube videos for grades 3 and 4, but I can't seem to find any for grade 5. Last semester I taught grade 4 online and it was great to be able to throw on all the videos for each lesson. For those of you who have done grade 5 online before, did you use videos? If so, where did you find them?

Hi Heidi - I haven't heard anything regarding videos on Youtube for Gr 5, but right now I massively behind the 8ball with getting all of the resources Chris has put out for the online program since the beginning of March. Would you mind sharing the links for the Gr 4 and Gr 6 videos?

I usually just go to YouTube and type Grade 4 (or 3) Lesson 1 Song (or Look and Listen, Chant, etc). The first hit is usually the one.

Grade 3 and 4: http://www.youtube.com/user/Daphilia

I'm pretty terrible at whipping up a good PowerPoint, so without the videos my grade 5 lessons are lacking. I got the feeling last week that my students were a little bored. If you have any suggestions...

Hi Heidi, thanks for the link - I've reposted it under it's own thread, so it can be easily found. Will keep hunting for the Grade 5 materials, I've got a lot of stuff to go through from everything Chris has passed along to us, but will let you know if I find anything! Have a good weekend!

This reviews most of the lessons from 1-8...I skipped a few because we only have 40 minutes and the kids will really like the matching game at end so I wanted to have enough time to play it.

This one's more fun and games and less actual review, but it is the LAST CLASS :P
