Here's my version of the routines lesson I used for my middle school girls. It was pretty successful because there is a bunch of different things to do to keep the students engaged. I first introduced the term routine, gave examples, then asked students to tell me about their routines. I then asked them to name two routines students do all over the world. I showed the the first video to illustrate "all students go to school". Here's the link to the video:

I then showed them that all (well probably not but whatevs) students eat lunch everyday as part of their routine. I then showed them the slides with the different lunches and asked them to guess where they are from. They really liked this! To waste time I had them name all the foods in the pictures.
Then I showed them this video to illustrate routines more:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bniwLF4hYHQ
Of course every Korean student loves this video.
Then an introduction to words that describe routines, always, sometimes, and never. Then practice, then pass out the handout. The students will make a comic of their routines by using the three words.
Oh the formatting on the handout might be a little skewed. I had to transfer files from a Mac and it doesn't allow me to make it perfect for exporting to a Doc. If anyone knows how to do this, for realz, let me know.
