Ooh, also: Secret Millionaire (UK) and Undercover boss (US version is better, but it's very formulaic. I just enjoy seeing behind the scenes of Nascar or the Chicago Cubs).

I second Secret Millionaire!  Have a box of tissues handy though, just in case.  I don't think I've gone through a single episode without crying at some point.

I LOVE the US Undercover Boss, It's so much more dramatic than the UK version, plus now I really want to go to Great Wolf Lodge!

I really thought I was the only person watching some of these shows. Glad I'm not alone! :)

I love the mtv shows:
The Real World
Teen Mom
16 & Pregnant
True Life
Jersey Shore

When I went home I recently caught a few episodes of these shows and now I can't stop watching them.
Storage Wars
American Pickers
Auction Hunters
Hardcore Pawn
Pawn Queens
Extreme Couponing

Some others:
If you like Swamp People then you'll like Coal
Pregnant in Heels
Real Housewives series
Jerseylicious
Audrina
The Kardashians and all of their shows
Sister Wives - polygamists!

Anyway, those are the shows I watch regularly. I feel embarrassed to admit that.

Very glad I downloaded Miami Ink.  Only one ep in but liking it a lot.  Interesting subject, good people dynamic and 45 mins per ep a decent length.  Now I only have to make sure I DON'T get carried away with the urge to get that full back ocean,  cherry bloosom and sky tattoo I've been flirting with the idea of for a cpl of years....

Think I'll give Jersey Shore a crack too.  Nothing of it on yt to preview, so I'll download one ep and see how it is.  I'm thinking it's going to be either a love it or hate it affair.  Young narcicistic show offs....  the same reason I hated bb.  hmm, think I'm actually talking myself OUT of that show...

Auction hunters sounds like it could be up my street.  There is certainly a time for something with a simple, down to earth but curiosity rousing subject and I did love Pawn Stars.

MEH miami ink is getting old 4 eps in.  oooh it's so emotional, tattoos mean so much etc.

Naw, wait until you've come to grips with your stuff and a year later if you feel you really must, then get the tattoo.

Another bunch of overly self obsessed narcicists.

i hate modern western youth culture.  Dostoevski didn't need no damned tats nor did Van Goh or Leonard Cohen.

I'm going to go for Auction hunters next I think.

What I liked about pawn stars is they are guys that don't let their emotions control them every damned minute of the day!

Ice Road Truckers is also great.  It should be starting up again in a few weeks.  Nothing like watching a show on winter in Alaska/far northern Canada in the middle of summer!
