Aeroline Bus between Malaysia and Singapore
« on: June 08, 2011, 01:45:36 PM »
Does anyone have any experience with the Aeroline bus (www.aeroline.com.my)  that runs between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore?

My friend and I are looking for cheaper alternatives to flying between the two countries.

Or, if anyone has experience with any other means of transport please could you let me know...

Thanks ^^

Just go to the bus station, there is one near china town, or at the airport, and there are many buses, just ask around.  Are you going to be in KL?  Take a bus to JB, and then from JB take a bus to Singapore, it will be cheaper, and practically just as quick.  Many buses to choose from, so don't worry about buying tickets before hand.

I don't know about that company specifically, but the Malaysian/Singaporean buses are very nice, clean, spacious and cheap!  I wholeheartedly recommend traveling by bus in Malaysia.

We took aeroline bus to travel from KL to Singapore in 2009.  Pleasant experience and great customer service.  We booked it online and use their service without any hassle.  I think the journey took about 6 hours.  Comfortable bus with reclining chair, air cond, lcd tv, etc.  We just slept the whole way.  I highly recommend it  :D

It depends what you want, if you want a comfertable ride, that sort of bus is great, and I've taken one similar to t, if you want a cheaper ride, maybe half the price or less, just take a bus from the bus station, no need to book ahead.

Thanks!

I wasn't sure if its possible to travel by land between the two countries, so when I searched it the aeroline bus was the first bus to come up but now I am aware that other buses are available too.

I guess I just needed to know that it is possible and thanks to you guys I know there are plenty of buses. We may or may not book ahead.

Comfort matters but only to an extent- I guess as long as we're sitting (as opposed to standing lol) is all that matters.

And yes we will be in Kuala Lumpur so will take the bus from there.

Again, thank you SO much!

What hunterst said is the best way, I did the same, in KL you can even bargain down the price. It will not take too long either.
Aeroline sounds expensive. rather just show up. The buses are spacious and comfortable too.

Happy travels
