Grade 4, Lesson 6 - How Much Is It? (Cameron M. Wood)
« on: June 09, 2011, 02:57:40 pm »
Hello. Sorry, but I don't have anything to share just yet. I'll be glad to do so after this lesson.

But I wanted to ask if anyone had a lesson plan relevant to this lesson. My open class will involve this topic, and I just want to see if there are any good ideas out there for a lesson plan that's well-rounded and sharp. We typically just follow the book, but if someone has a little innovation it'd be much, much appreciated.

I also have a topic coming up on this and am thinking of how I should hit the nail on this one!

Here's a Gogo (30) video that goes with the lesson: I used this to introduce the lesson...

Not sure if anyone still needs lesson plans for this lesson; I completed this before summer break, but my co-teacher wants to start the fall semester by reviewing lesson 6 again.

I did a search like this "how much is it" including the parenthesis, and so many great games/lessons/ideas etc came up. So, instead of needlessly re-posting what I found, just thought I'd let everyone know.

Good luck this semester...

Sorry I'm new here.  How much warning do you get about when you have to do an open class, and is the topic decided completely for you?W

Hey everyone!  I made this fill in the blanks worksheet today, and my kids loved it!  The pictures can be found in the back of their book!  They'll just need to tear them out, and grab a glue stick from somewhere!
