Hi,
Does anyone know where I can find some simple, relatively basic Psychiatry / Behavior disorder / Abnormal or deviant behavior-related articles?  If you have a link, can you please share?  Suitable for an ESL learner would be awesome.

I'm currently in a language exchange with a psychiatrist and I need some news (online newspaper/magazine/journal etc) articles which we can read and discuss in our weekly meetings.  I just want normal conversation practice but he is looking for exposure to psychiatry-related stuff in English.  His level is not quite high enough for real psychiatric journals.

You could try looking at http://www.psychologytoday.com/ for articles.

It's a lot of "pop psychology", but it puts psychology articles in layman terms, which may be easier for him to understand. And it would at least put you two on the subject of psychology : )

You can also google some psychological problems like depression, bi polar, etc. You'll get heaps.

You could use the Avatar websites, specifically the minicourses.  They are online in both languages, I think.

Avatar is about consciousness training, metaphysics, and becoming very popular in modern psychiatry
