I am working for a public school, and it says in my contract that I have to work 18 weeks per semester, and then do a 3 week summer camp. I have been working since the beginning of March, but I have just realized that if I work up until July 20 when school ends, that will be a total of 20 weeks. Some of my friends say that the second semester is shorter, but I counted and I think it will be like 17.5 weeks, or 18 weeks. My school wants me to work a two week camp, but I think they may also have me work another week in a nearby city? To me this feels a little strange. Either I'll work till the end of the semester and shorten my camp, or I'll end my semester early? I can't understand this exactly. Does someone else i the forum have experience with this, and how should I approach this with my school? Thanks to all!
