Shopkeeper/ Customer Dialgue Game
« on: June 21, 2010, 01:01:00 pm »
So there are 5 different shoppes.  Students have to go to the other shoppes to find the items on their shopping list.  They will have to visit all 4 other shoppes to check all the items off their list.

The powerpoint introduces 2 different chapters in our book.  The first part, the students are to say whether the scenario is surprising or not--should be a quick intro.  The second part corresponds with the shoppes.  First couple slides just introduces the dialogue.  The ones after are to go over each item and the correct grammar associated with it.

A. May I help you?
B. Yeah!  I'm looking for a coffee cup.
or
B. Yeah!  I'm looking for New Balance shoes.

And the second part:
A. How about this one?  or How about these? or I'm sorry, we don't have that/any/those.

Going through some of the items that express pluralism vs singularism will help them be more successful at shopping.

I added prices, so the kids have to write that down when they find the item on their shopping list.  This will insure they're not just checking the items when the teacher's not looking!  ;D

Also added a better version of the ppt
