Ugh, I know. There is still a fair bit to do, I only have a few more days before my vacation starts and I'm leaving school early on Friday to get my mum and sister form the airport... I don't think I'll be able to get everything finished before the end of semester. I'm really sorry guys :(

The day 9 and day 6 worksheets are nearly done but I havent started on the Gershwin or 50cent lyrics or any of the other activity stuff. I have 6 classes today and 5 tomorrow so I probably wont have time to make them. I'll try though. Otherwise I'll make them during my first week of camp (August 1st) but if you need them before then you're on your own!

Hey do you have any materials "stamp clap" game you play on day 4? I don't know what these "verb stickers" are and where I can get them.

Secondly does anyone have a link for an adjectives video for Day 3. I tried the other edited ppt with the video embedded, but it won't play on my version of powerpoint.

Vinnie Spaz: Adjectives grammar rock (day 4):

The verb stickers for the stamp clap game are just verbs you can stick to your students (or put them on a string round their necks or something) Some good verbs to use would be 'stamp' 'clap' 'click (your fingers)' 'jump' 'hop' 'smile' 'laugh' 'wink' etc.

I totally understand, if all else fails I can just cut that activity. Thanks for your great material!

Hi!

Here's my 5 day music-themed winter camp plan.

Day 1 - Forming a band
-students get into teams and make band posters
- voting for the best poster (most activities are competitions where bands earn "money".  The band with the most money wins a special prize at the end.)

Day 2 - Song writing
- students learn some vocab and do a song listneing activity.
- with extra time, I will show a Hannah Montana episode, and on another day, play Hannah Montana BINGO.

Day 3 - Going on Tour
- students do a scavenger hunt around the school.  The clues have cities on them which will show them their "tour schedule."
- extra time - Hannah Montana continued.  I also have a K-pop slam game that I found on here that would make a great filler.

Day 4 - Making Money
- students will build a newspaper tower.  This tower symbolozes their album sales.  Of course, the higher their tower is, the more money (points) the team is awarded.

Day 5 - Random Cooking Class - chocolate coconut balls

I will include the camp PPT, Hannah Montana PPT (it goes over some vocab), and well as the workbook I will be using.

Hopefully this will be useful to some of you!

Bye!
