Summer camp working hours

I'm with GEPIK and for winter camp I only had to work 4hours but I just got a message fromy CO-T that for summer camp I'll have to work the full 8hours. Does anyone have to do this too? I remember signing a paper during winter camp that somewhere on the contract, we're only suppose to work 4-5hours? is this right? I need some clarification..

I also need some clarification on this too. My school have completely shafted me. Making me do four weeks of summer camp, and making me stay for the full 8 hours every day.

For the camps, during the previous years they were not strict about staying all 8 hrs, which we are required to stay.  This year, supposedly due to some teachers causing some trouble after they were released early, we all have to abide to stay the 8 hrs.

So what you're saying is...  you have to work 8 hours a day, five days a week when you're not on your vacation leave?  Sounds almost like a job.

Hahahah..... very good point. But I can understand some people complaining if they know other people who get to work 4-5 hour days. Oh well... them's the breaks. I will be doing a 4 week camp as well with 8 hour days. Come Winter break I'll be owed 3 weeks of vacation.
