Hey Leo,

This lesson is awesome, as usual. I'm really impressed with your stuff. However, I am a bit confused about some of the video sections in the game part of this lesson. For example, what are the students supposed to answer for the "Birds of paradise" video? it doesn't seem like there is a question there.....Maybe I'm just being dense, but could you help me out here? Thanks, and keep up the great work!

For those of you having trouble with the video files, I have attached the files on this post. Sorry it took so long. I deleted the original files and had to go and download them again and edit them to the appropriate timings. The files are too large to attach to the original post, so I'm posting them here.

Hey thanks for the amazing ppt slides!  I just wanna say you've inspired me to to take a whole new approach to teaching!  I teach an all boys middle school and only 3-4 out for 30 students have a genuine interest in learning the 'technical' stuff.  But you are right the class sizes are too big to learn English effectively.

I've only been here for 2 weeks, it was difficult to maintain the boys' attention...it seemed like games and candy is the only way forward.
But your ideas have made them genuinely interested in learning about the world!

Kudos to you mate! =P

It looks like an awesome lesson. Do you make the kids with the ball switch off every round?

Yeah, for my larger classes, it was necessary to keep everyone engaged.

Hello!

I'm sorry for my total ignorance, but what do you mean by "switch off every round"?  :-[

This is perfect for my low level first years to review comparatives and superlatives...any ideas on how I can get the "home" link to work? I suppose I can exit the slide show mode and find the home page after each question, but it would be easier to activate the link if possible. Thanks for the video files, too! I have Office 2003 so that may explain why some of the links won't work for me...

So it doesn't take you back to slide 9 when you click the little blue rectangle on the bottom right? If so, you have to make another box like it, then right click edit hyperlink, then set hyperlink to "slide 9" and then paste that box into every question slide.

Hey Leo what is the purpose of the number on top of each ppt page. For example All -10 or All - 30
