Things to do on a rainy day in Seoul?
« on: July 08, 2011, 09:32:10 AM »
Howdy all,

Yes, I did use the search function, but I couldn't find a whole lot of things to do on a rainy day in Seoul. I will be in Seoul this weekend, and I hope to be able to do something interesting with my girlfriend. We like artsy things like classical art museums and music. We are open to other things, but we will be north of the river.

We went to the Seoul Arts Center last time and had a blast, but the art hasn't changed yet. Any suggestions for daytime things to do in Seoul?

Thanks in advance~

Rainy days are here to stay it seems. :(

Check out this website for whats on in Seoul. http://www.korea4expats.com/event.php

We've abandoned camping this weekend due to the weather so are touring the microbreweries instead (all 4 of them)  ::)

Practice your cooking. Stay at home and make some mad swag meal, with lots of banchan and stuff. Good veggies, maybe even go crazy and get some meat in there.

Then drink mackeoli. It's the done thing on rain days.

Or accept that it's raining, so life is in roo-ins.

The Seoul National Museum is huge and free. As well as the war museum, it's really interesting. Both of those could fill up an entire afternoon.
Have you been to COEX? There's tons of indoor shopping to do and the aquarium is fun, can get really crowded though!
