Now...I have mixed feelings about this.  I remember when the Koreas marched together in 2000 and 2004 (as I'm sure we all do) and it was an extremely
positive and exciting moment.  However, I feel like having a joint Korean team is a little like rewarding North Korea in spite of their behaviour over last
couple of years.

I guess I feel like it's just a useless and hollow gesture designed to make the South Korean public feel all warm and fuzzy about the whole 'one Korea' issue
again.  I also feel like South Korea is too soft on North Korea, and moving so quickly to align with them (even in a sporting sense) is insulting to the people
who were murdered in the Cheonan incident, and on Yeonpyeong Island.

At the end of the day, who am I to criticize how South Korea does what it does?  Perhaps the lawmakers feel that if they extend the olive branch and it's
accepted...then we may be one step closer to a peaceful re-unification?  Perhaps they feel that this move will win them votes?

*unrelated...but not sure why my paragraphs look so odd on waygook these days.
