National Pension
« on: August 24, 2010, 03:04:45 pm »
Does anyone know how the National Pension payment is suppose to work out.  My main coteacher has no idea what is going on and cannot answer any of my questions.  My friend was told that we are suppose to go to the National Pension Office(s) ourselves and fill out paperwork there using our Foreign (home) bank account.  Has anyone heard anything specific about what we are suppose to do.  I'm leaving early at the end of my contract so I have to take care of this all asap.  I live in INcheon if that makes a difference but I would assume we all have to do pretty much the same thing.

From what I understand, you need to get all the documents from Korea before you leave, but you can only lodge them from your home country once you have left ROK for good.
