Short Term Teaching Contracts Available in Europe for New or Experienced ESL Teachers
Departures twice a month in June, July, Aug, and Sept and return Dec 23, 2011
This is a great government run program in the Eastern European country of Georgia.
All participants receive one week of training upon arrival in Georgia before being placed in a public school to teach children from elementary school to high school English conversation skills with the assistance of their Georgian co-teacher.
Teachers work from Monday to Friday for up to 30 hours per week. Teachers receive free housing with a Georgian family and also receive free airfare, basic medical insurance and a stipend of $300 USD/month (minus ~$50 USD/month which they must give to their homestay family to assist with utilities).
This opportunity is open to all applicants that speak and write English fluently and who have completed at least two years of college.
