2010-2011 Grade 6 Lesson 14 Would you like to come to my house

The game involved tracing the letter of a word on studen'ts backs and having them mark that word on the board. "would you like to try some______?" , you whisper "beans" and they begin tracing B  E   A  N  S. It's quite fun. also some lessons before.

My co-teacher has me make vocab review slideshows. Here's one I made for Lesson 14. It practices "Would you like to ——", and also "I'd love to ——", which is something the book doesn't go into much detail about. (It presents "I'd love to", unanalyzed, as just one more of the flurry of ways they have of saying "yes"—sure, okay, no problem, all right, sounds good, sounds great.)

At the end I've also included an invitation that I used for an activity with my kids. (I kind of forced the word "happen" into it, because it was one of the Words of the Day that I've been giving them every day.)

This is my first entry into the bomb game making business.  It is a Zelda themed game and a throw back to my childhood.  The first 30 questions were ripped from the Donkey Kong game.  These will last you about 30 mins.  For additional/harder questions, click the "mirror" image on the upper left corner of the question screen.  These questions were made by my coteacher and me.

I know this is uploaded a tad bit late, but for you lesson 14 stragglers, enjoy!  All others, just gut it and make a nice review game with it.

I would like to share all of my files for this lesson. I hope they can be used in some way for the 2012 school year. Included are the following:
