Hello to all!

Just wanted to invite all those interested in ball hockey to our CBHK ball hockey league ( www.cbhk.org) . Our new season will be starting at the end of August. We have been around for the last 5 years. We have a league that consists of 8 teams of 15 players. We go by the book as far as rules are concerned. We have stats, refs..and most importantly a goooood drinking environment. We play near Jamshil every Sunday between 12 and 8 . We play blocks of 2 hour games . Im not sure what you mean by that yeti08..

First step: you sign up and pay your league fees on the CBHK web site when it is time (I think sometime it mid august or so..Ill get the exact info as soon as its available). WE have a maximum of 120..spots get filled fast so be sure to sign up ASAP or you will not be able to join

Second step: you come to the rookie game day

Third step: The captains will then select their players based on what they see

Dont worry if you dont know how to play well...we are open to all calibers,

How much equipment do most players wear?

And is it full contact? Just curious how rough it gets.

Hey Wretchard.

No equipment is mandatory but mouthguards, shin pads ,jock (if you value your crown jewels)and hocky gloves are highly recommended. You can purchase these items online or go to a hockey shop near Mokdong ice rink ( things are quiet expensive there). Most players do not play with any kind of protection.

As for the physical aspect., it can get quite rough at times, especially during the playoffs but that is the reason why we have refs. For the most part, we are all out there to have fun and are well aware that we are not pros and this is in fact just a beer league

Just making sure you didn't have to have a group of guys together to have a team already in place.  As I am just one guy and none of my friends here are into ball hockey unfortunately.

Quick question. Is this a male league only? I am from Canada and play hockey and would be interested.
