Waygook's webserver has been upgraded, and users should notice a significant performance increase during peak site hours.  We will continue to monitor the servers for some time to ensure it meets the needs of the growing user base.  Thank you from the waygook team :)

Welcome to the Waygook community forums.  Feel free to browse the site, and sign up for a free account to have access to lesson plans.  Waygook is geared towards EFL/ESL teachers in South Korea, however we do like to cater and help out fellow waygookins all over.  We are also on facebook for convenience.

New in Busan
« on: August 19, 2011, 04:28:35 PM »
Hi All,

I'm a newcomer to Korea, residing in Busan and teaching in a public elementary school. I'm also new to TEFL so Waygook is an invaluable resource. Originally from DC, I spent the last six years studying and working in the film industry in Los Angeles. Excited to be exploring a new country and looking forward to meeting many other teachers and travelers.

Please email or message me if you're in Busan and would like to meet up.

Best,

Josh

Best of luck! I'll be in Daegu at the end of this week. I'm already feeling a little anxious...

I'm heading to Busan this week too. My first time as a GET - nervous but excited. I've only heard good things about the city!
