I would say, ask your co-teacher or a Korean friend to help you out with looking at the bus schedule. They usually have very specific times online as to when and how often a bus will run, even on the holiday schedule. Keep in mind that there will be fewer buses running so you may have to go a little earlier than expected or wait longer in between buses. But, they should be running. If it is a bus that requires you buy a ticket, I would go to the bus station and buy it in advance as this is the busiest time for riding those buses. Good luck~
