Off to the races! (Anyone else starting full lessons today?)
« on: September 05, 2011, 09:14:36 am »
Hey everyone!

I'm waiting for 3rd period to start my first lesson that doesn't involve my introduction.  I'm pretty nervous about it since this will be the first time I have carried out a real lesson from a lesson plan I either found on here or made myself.

If anyone else is starting full lessons today let me know how it goes! Good luck!

Today was my third day teaching, but I remember the first day. The first day I was also a bit nervous but that passed as I realized how hard it can be to control little kids. Before I knew it time was already up and the next class was coming in. So I felt like there wasn't even any time to feel nervous I just have to focus on getting my lesson across to the kids and keep moving.

I just had my first day a couple days ago.  It was actually terrible.  But has gotten better in the days since.  If you are finding it hard at first, I think it will just become easier and easier.  This site is a great resource to help you become a great teacher!
