If you use Office 2003, you won't be able to open 2007 files (pptx, docx, etc.) by default. However, by downloading and installing the following pack, you'll be able to open, edit, and save 2007 files using Office 2003.

Great thank you, it seems like every computer at my school uses a different version of Office.  Usually I just try to find the newest version to open the file and save to an older format.  This is much easier!

OpenOffice works too for those not wanting to buy/use Microsoft Office
