This was a good lesson. Ss used past what did you do? q's and interviewed eachother using the 5 w's: Who, what, where, when, why

I made a little chart for the students to fill in the 5 w's q's while they interviewed thier partner about thier vacation. can be used for weekends, winter break and summer break or any holiday

after I had students poll eachother about who did what activity, and place results on the board

Lesson lasted 45mins and students enjoyed talking about what they did for fun during vacation!

Thanks for posting- just a quick question though: why is the ppt in present tense, but the prompt question is asking for past-tense answers?

Example: "What did you do for Chuseok?" -> a proper past-tense answer would be "I packed my clothes" ... but your ppt says "packing clothes".

Wasn't this confusing to the students?

I agree, but if there's always something in someone else's activity that seems confusing, I suggest as teachers, we can always revise and edit certain parts
