October 2011 EPIK New Teacher Workshop
« on: September 23, 2011, 03:11:37 pm »
Hey All,

I am one of the lecturers at the EPIK workshop in Seoul on October 24th and I'm speaking about powerpoint use in the classroom.  I'm demoing a bunch of games and I promised people I would post them here for them to download.

Leave a question or comment if you have one.

Yeah, definitely one of the most useful lectures. Love the games and I'm hoping to design some of my own.

You really made some good powerpoints.  I plan on playing around and trying some reverse engineering and learning how to make some this week.

You have a lot of creativity.  Thanks for sharing your work.

Thank you so much for all of these files! Also, thank you for the Guessing Game tutorial! I am currently working on one (I may or may not use it this coming lesson, but I have a template all made now...yay!), and that is a huge accomplishment for me. Before working on PPTs for my teaching here, I had barely touched the program over the past decade, so I really didn't know how to do much. I'm slowly picking up more ways to add more fun to my slides. Add in the fact that I made my template today using PowerPoint all in Korean, and I am beyond thrilled :)

hi Casey, thanks for posting your games. Your class proved  that games can really be fun even for adults.
Listen, I'd like to use your MONEY game...i don't remember the exact name but it was about cost / prices and currency... can you post that on line? thanks a lot! To be fair, I've posted 13 of my own middle school grammar ppts on line i hope they'll be of value to the middle school teachers out there. jenelle
