YBM SISA grade 3 Chapter 9:It's Sunny!

Hi there,
I re-used and adapted some weather ideas from this site, but made it better for my classroom. 
Here is my ppt on weather introductions, and also a Mario Bomb game to go along with it after you introduce weather.
I hope this can be attached as a new thread to the unmade new books for Grade 3. YBM Si-sa Lesson 9: 'It's sunny'

hey guys..this is for the new book yellow book from YBM Si-Sa for Gr.3...chapter 9 - It's Sunny

I made a basic presentation for the key question and answer as well a rules page for the suggested game by the book..the cards are at the back of the students textbook you can either ask them to rip out or you can rip and photocopy.

Grade 3, Lesson 9 - It's Sunny YBM Si-sa

There is no thread to this section, but I would still like to share what I planned for this lesson
Hope it helps :)

Here is the song that I am using for this section. It includes the vocab ... "how is the weather?" "It's ...." and "Is it ..... today

Activity – Move your butt
- Ss are instructed that 1 person in each team needs to tear out their cards and each Ss in the team is given 1 card.
- show pictures and make sure Ss understand the weather, write “how is the weather?” on the board and have all the Ss read it and answer “ it’s ….” When they see their picture.
- Ss are instructed to hold on to their card, move their desks and to sit in a circle.
- One person stands in the middle, everyone asks “ What’s the weather like?” the person in the middle then has to say a different weather to what he/she is holding, eg. “It’s sunny!” Everyone who has a sunny card then has to stand up and change chairs.
- This continues as long as time allows
- if a person has been in the middle 3 times they have to do the chant dance
2 rules
- may not change chairs with the person next to you and do not push anybody.

Here is a weather/4 seasons Mario Bomb game (modified from several other users), an introductory weather ppt, and a wordsearch and matching weather word handout.  I added tornado, lightning, thunder rainbow, foggy, icy.

A double-sided flashcard set you guys may like. Has days of the week on the back.

Includes: sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, stormy (There's thunder and lightning!), rainy (It's raining.), snowy (It's snowing.), windy, dusty (There's hwangsa.), foggy and just in case you're describing a clear night: starry.

here is my ppt I used a cloudy with a chance of meat balls theme and in the ppt there are so video clips from the movie which we talked about. also at the end is a jeopardy game which we played. I hope this helps.
