Agree... I've been using Steve Jobs and Apple throughout my most recent posting.  Kids lap it up!  I was able to use the example of Apple to talk about business operations - and the product differentiation strategy they use.  So much to work with in Business Studies and Apple!

My kids have really responded to learning about Steve Jobs.

I combined this with a lesson on inspiration, and "who inspires you". I've had some great results, and really got to know the kids better.
I introduced the idea of inspiration and how people can inspire you to make your life better.
I showed some examples.
Then I went into the Steve Jobs pres. and speech. Once it was finished I had the students complete a worksheet on why Steve Jobs inspires people and who inspires them.

I made the ppt a bit easier for my classes, but all credit goes to the originator of this ppt, and a big thank you!

Hope this works well for you, feed back is appreciated!

Brilliant idea! My students are obsessed with Steve Jobs these days. I'm always down for lessons that help students to engage with currents events. It makes them realize that things they learn in school actually do apply outside the classroom. Awesome. Thanks!

This is a great string...been looking for something to tie in goals with my high school students. I think this material will get me to a decent product where my students are producing English.
