Please remember this is a public forum.
« on: November 02, 2010, 12:45:21 pm »
Hello,

We have members who have registered with @hanmail.net email addresses (at a quick estimate, about 168 at the time I am writing this) so it is reasonable to assume that Korean teachers are reading this forum. Please bear this in mind when posting about work conditions and Koreans.

As a general reminder, we wish to keep this forum supportive and constructive.

Thanks.

I agree with you on that, but at the same time Koreans need to realize that changes  have to be made in regards to the conditions that many foreigners are in. Change can only be brought about when things are brought to light!

The name of this site is "waygook.org," and was started and maintained by foreign English teachers in Korea to provide support and information where none was previously available.  Korean English teachers are certainly welcome to post and participate, and we encourage sharing across cultures, but keep in mind what sort of resource this is and who has created and developed all the materials.  We want to present a professional image here, but this is an important opportunity for Korean English teachers to start to learn about the foreign English teacher experience.
