Anybody know where I can see this with English subtitles?  My K-girlfriend wants to see it with me, but when she called the CGVs they all said they don't have the subs.

I was looking around also but couldn't find a place. They likely won't start showing Dogani with English subs unless it continues to stay popular and, if so, I imagine it'll probably take another month or two.

I broke down and decided to watch it without subtitles. With my limited Korean it actually wasn't too difficult to follow. I saw it on a date with a girl and lets just say it wasn't the best movie for that haha. Not that I was expecting it to be a good date movie but I enjoy dramas and thrillers that tackle social issues except it was kinda awkward when the girl next to me was pretty much cowering against the wall for the entirety of the film. Good movie, don't get me wrong, but don't expect it to be good date material. Some parts just make you shudder.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is one movie that doesn't show with English subtitles. I told one of my friends that I saw it and he was absolutely mortified. He was very worried that I thought all Koreans acted like that. It took a while to reassure him that things like this happen in the States too.

Yeah, go ahead and see it despite the lack of subs.  My Korean does not extend beyond ordering food at a restaurant, but I went to see this and was still floored by it despite the massive language barrier.  Also, same reaction from co-teachers when I told them that I watched it: "Don't let it scare you away from Korean people!"
