Spoke with my KT about my early thoughts and she told me about when she lost her Hand Phone.  She had to offer a reward after a number of texts and finally the  HS student gave it back for 30k won.  She seemed to think that the younger generation was more likely to not give stuff back than the older generation.

Congrats and nice to ur mate.

I lost my wallet in a rural community a few months ago and it was never turned in. I know for sure I left it at the bus station in town. Good luck to you!! My wallet never turned up. I had to reorder all new credit cards and lost some cash.

I just lost my wallet on the weekend in Itaewon ???. I went back to the restaurant/bar where I lost it and also reported it to the police station. The one positive thing is that my bank/credit cards haven't been used so I am hoping a kind samaritan picked it up and mailed it back. My roommate lost her wallet a month ago and was fortunate to get hers mailed back...

this was a few years ago, but my friend on the (internal) airport bus and was helping a friend get her luggage off......left his money wallet containing over $5,000 (don't ask why)

The bus driver was kind enough to return in with no money missing.

I would not expect to see that happen in the U.K.....that money would have been long gone.

Koreans on the whole have been very good at returning things from what I've read and experienced.
