Letter of release
« on: November 11, 2011, 12:05:26 PM »
I'm looking to transfer schools very soon, and believe that all is required is a letter of release from my boss.

I want to be crystal clear on what this letter needs to include, so if anyone can advise then that would be most helpful.

At a minimum, it must have your name, the date you started working for the school, your ending date, and a statement to the effect of, "I release this person to change his/her place of employment."  Finally, it must have the signature of the principal. As I understand it, stamps are not required.

EFL-law has a kind of template on their website. http://www.efl-law.com/letter_of_release.php
