Humanist Charities
« on: November 24, 2011, 01:29:27 pm »
While I've come to see all too clearly these past 7 years that charity is not a long-term solution (arguably, in some instances it perpetuates poverty and oppression), it is unfortunately immediately necessary in an unjust world where many suffer daily.

I'm looking to be more involved with humanist charitable organizations. I know where to find them (I have Google :)), but I'm actually interested if anyone on this forum has any experience donating to or working with humanist charities.
