the hearts and bomb game looks amazing.

but forgive me if I am being stupid does the heart mean they got the answer correct? because i'm fairly sure Italian ppl don't speak Italinese.

just trying to figure it out as I don't know half the answers to some of the questions, so wanted to know how to get the correct answer.

...i mean other than googleing every other slide

Ooooh, no! Thank you, I think I accidentally posted the version that was only about 95% finished... Here it is with the corrections (hopefully). Thanks for finding this mistake, as you are SO very correct--Italian people do NOT speak Italianese ;)

And, 99% of the credit goes to the original author of this lesson--I just changed the questions for my students!

Thank you so much for starting this thread and posting successful lesson ideas.  I'm in an all boys middle school as well, and is definitely a challenge to cater to their interests and language needs (especially in completely mixed level classes).  This is why I love to visit waygook for ideas for lesson plans.  I'll definitely be revisiting this post in the future when I'm feeling lack of inspiration!
