Where to rent study room/meeting room?
« on: December 01, 2011, 05:58:28 PM »
Hello!

I need to find an decent size meeting room for me and 10 people in a couple months.  I'd need it for a few hours a day, 5 days a week.  Using it to conduct meetings, study sessions, etc.

I live in Anyang... but more concerned with where to look first.

Cafe's, libraries don't work bc they're either too loud or too small.

Help please!!!

I know you're not in Seoul but...Noryangjin is known for it's study rooms. It's where all the university students go study for exams. You could try there if you can't find anything in Gyeonggi. It's also known for easy to find short term living.

There are some businesses that rent rooms.  One I know of is TOZ.  It is located in Kangnam but also has some branches in Gyeonggi-do that I have used before.   But I don't think there is one in Anyang. This is their website http://www.toz.co.kr  If traveling to Kangnam is ok that might be a good bet. Or there may be a company like it closer.

But I do live near Anyang and I have used a Place, Minto I believe, on the top floor of the CGV near Anyang station.  It is a cafe but it has a private meeting room that I believe you can reserve. I haven't been for awhile so I'm not sure how big the rooms are but I think they were good size.

Anyang, huh? Well, I'm not sure, but you can try looking for a place called International Cafe Huh. It's a chain that I've noticed in Seoul and Busan. There's an open space for the general cafe and small meeting rooms as well.

TOZ is also another popular chain with great service. Very friendly staff and soundproof rooms. Fairly flexible and reasonable for booking options as well.

If all else fails, try looking around university areas. There are many smaller, independent study rooms, but these are far more likely in the city. Good luck!
