Native Americans / Indian camp
« on: December 14, 2011, 05:18:22 PM »
This camp was made for my elementary school, but i have made it so i can be used for middle school as well.  as long as they are  a low level middle school.  It does have a store-typical cartoon at the beginning of one of PPTs, please feel free to skip that if you feel it will not help with the lesson.  It is more of an attention getter for the kids than anything else.

there are worksheets and flashcards worked into the PPT.

I made the adventure game based off the Mario adventure game.  It is not a Mario game.  The main character is Running Horse and he goes around a made-up land trying to find the golden axe that was stolen by spirit wolves. Thanks to dejon for making it, so i could use the format to make my own fun game.  There are two slide in there about me.  you should probably change those.

The dream catcher lesson does take time, please keep that in mind if you plan on using it for a camp.  It takes me 2 40 minute periods with elementary, but they absolutely love it.

This is a great idea Mariah, thanks for the lesson  :)  Making a dream catcher will be quite fun.
