Hmm.. I wonder..

I'm living with four roomates and one of them is a korean who's immersed in this
Pro American college student group.

Basically he says that:
"the group of anti US FTA, us beef..anyone who participates in the these demonstrations are loosers who are just a portion of the people. Never the majority but a minority, and will always be a like that"

the idea that I got, is that there are far far more people who would like to be pro american rather than pro china.
Have you been to NATE.com? the top replies (with the most "likes") for any chinese related articles have insanely anti chinese slurs.
I would have to say the koreans here never like the chinese. More so than the japanese gov.

Asian countries is growing increasingly weary of China.  Vietnam (not just the government, but the people, too) are looking to improve ties to the US as a counter-balance to China.  Just recently they hosted 3 US Navy ships at Da Nang.  China is too close, too big and increasingly too powerful for many Asian countries to feel at ease about it.
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me.

If only the winds of fate had blown in a different direction.  Hitler could have been a painter (an evil painter) or Kim Jong Il could have been a choreographer (a most wicked choreographer).
