Khao Sahn Road Hostel Suggestions

Headed to Thailand in the new few weeks, I need to book something on Khao Sahn Road for my first couple of nights. Anybody got some good suggestions? I want to be in the middle of things and don't mind the noise so much. Would prefer an A/C but size isn't an issue...hopefully for around the 600 baht price range or less.

I had a good experience at the Greenhouse Guesthouse. Cheap rooms, clean, good restaurant, cheapest/most honest travel agent I found in the area.  It is not on Khao San Rd., instead it is on Rambutri St.  1 street over from Khao San. Rd.  Takes under 5 mins to be over there.

I agree with the suggestion for greenhouse. Anywhere that isn't on Kao Sahn Rd but on other streets surrounding it is generally cheaper than on the main strip.
