Anyone use iHerb's Direct Korean Postal shipping option?
« on: January 14, 2012, 06:34:36 PM »
I see that iHerb replaced the CJ shipping option with Direct Korean Postal.

Do you provide your passport or ARC number to customs? And how do you provide it? E-mail? Fax? Go to the postal office?

If you're received your package, then how long did it take?

It wont accept ARC it has to be a korean resident's identity number. We used it using our friend's number, she got a call from customs checking the delivery address which we had put as ours. No problems, fast delivery and it worked out cheaper than CJS.

...huh? This isn't true. You can use an ARC for this shipping. In fact, my ARC works on virtually every Korean website I've ever tried to sign up for (which only amounts to about a dozen).

It was true for a few days, then a bunch of them wrote them and left frustrated messages on the fb page and it changed.
Gotta say, one thing I like about them is that they adapt to customer complaints/demands.

I just used the Iherb Direct shipping and it worked out great.

They took my ARC, from processing to getting my parcel was 4 days and I have no complaints!
