Hello from Ansan!

Aha well I found this site before I arrived here then completely forgot about it...until now.  Hi everyone. I am a British guy that has been living and attempting to teach in Ansan for almost a month now. Anyone else from Ansan post here? Anyway hope everyone is well!

Welcome fellow Brit :) How is Ansan treating you? Whereabouts exactly are you? I used to live in Ansan for 2 years close to Jungang. I'm now living in Sanbon which is about 20 mins away by subway.
I still spend a lot of my time in Ansan. If you have any any questions. Give me a shout.

There's a great website called Ansan Answers which is full of all kinds of useful information.

Hey yeah Ansan is pretty sweet. Settling in more and more each day.I live in Gojan which is quite convenient. Ha its good to hear from a fellow brit!

I also live in Gojan-Dong Ansan in Neulbom Swiftville near City Hall.    How are you settling in?

Ha obviously I am still a noob, I have no idea where that is...and yes the resentment is finally starting to reside over the revolution.

Where do you live by if you mind my asking?  If you teach in a public school they tend to place us near city hall.   What supermarket do you go for you sundry goods?   

A lot of hagwons are near the 2001  NewCore Outlet Center  .      It's a good thing that the resentment is beginning to subside .  Perhaps I can show you some things in the neighborhood if you live nearby me.

Hi, I'm an aussie that just got offered a middle school teaching position in Ansan (start in March 2012).  I will most likely take this position (fingers crossed that I've made the right decision!). So I will probably be looking to make friends with fellow teachers in the Ansan area and beyond.
If you're up for a meet and greet when I get there that would be awesome :P

Also, I would be most thankful if you have any advice/tips for me in regards to things that I should be aware of when residing in Ansan.

Hey Toaster-I live and work not too far from homeplus in Gojan not sure if that is anywhere near you, but I guess gojan is pretty small so it might be.
