What real companionship looks like.

You can have nothing, but everything.

Food for thought.

This thread is going places!

Probably the 47th page of this forum, after it is locked or deleted.

MC, this is the BEST thread that has appeared on this forum for quite some time. What would folks rather read about or debate: K-Pop. my CT is mean to me, what books are you reading, are you right handed or left handed...please.

This is about real life and real friendship. I am a dog lover and have a Doberman, 100% pure German bloodline. She is my best friend and I like her better than 99.9% of the people I have ever met. She's also smarter than most people I've ever met and certainly way more fun to hang around with.

And just to add a tiny bit of schmaltz onto it: Dog is God spelled backwards  ;D
Lord Buddha please help me, for I am not smart enough to make it dumb enough for them to understand.

I just really liked that photo.  Unlike the gazzilions that we see on the net everyday, this one actually made me stop and think.

Was a nice thing to see too and thought I would share.

I'm confused.  Is that before you came to Korea or something?

You should be careful, if a co-t or studetn saw that you used to be homeless, they would probably want you fired.  No offense and I have a old friend that used to live in the woods for a year, but Koreans have very different outlooks to westerners.

Food for thought.

Awesome dog btw, he looks like a real friend!

I'm curious?  Why would being homeless be a reason for my students want to fire me?  Can you follow up on that comment?

I'd like to hear about that too.

Chances are that the photo is not of the OP...just guessing.

Oh indeed and all the power to him for finding a better life here in Korea!

I'd love to have a pet dog, but living in a one room and being out of the house for 7.5 hrs a day, it just wouldn't be fair to the poor pooch.

Dogs are truly man's best friend. I am an animal lover of note and have had all kinds, but dogs are the best.

Makes me wonder why people want to eat them?

Dogs are aren't they?  I couldn't eat one, but if I had to, I probably would (like the movie Alive or The Grey or The Way Back).
There's just something special about dogs.  It's as if they have a heightened level of self-consciousness and their relation to their human owner/friends.

It's actually evolutionary.

I think we already know that.
