Advive on summer camps
« on: February 09, 2012, 12:52:53 pm »
Hey,
Just in the market for some advice.
So i have been working in korea for a year now. my twin bro is finishing his Uni in ireland in May and was considering coming over for the summer i.e working at a summer camp. Is this common? would it be worth his while financially? is this a good bad idea??
any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

is t "worth it"? dpends on your idea of worth it.

I did this a while ago, and in the end it paid for my vacation and gave me an extra 1.5 million won or so,

BUt I was working 10 - 6 for 6 days a week for 3 weeks ( or 4 weeks, I cant remember which)

For me that was worth it as I didnt have to sit on my butt all day while my wife visited her family, and It didnt end up costing us anything to fly.

If the goal is to get him here, still be able to hang out and not lose money then yes its worth it.

nope, hence my saying that "it covered my airfare"  :)

If you do a Summer camp its mostly for those already in Korea, but the odd person outside will find it worth it
