Bike ride from Seoul to Busan

Last year a couple of friends and I rode from Seoul to Busan (see http://www.dontwastetheweekend.com/2011/11/seoul-to-busan-scenic-route.html ) and this summer we are thinking of doing the same again. Would anyone be interested in joining?

Yes, I would definitely be interested so long as I was on my summer vacation. What type of bike did you do the trip on and do you have any suggestions on getting an inexpensive road bike in Seoul? Thanks!

And an odd question, but were you riding a unicycle on Namhansanseong mountain trails this past weekend? I looked at your link and recognized you from someone I saw cruising on a unicycle up the hiking trail, quite an impressive sight and feat of athleticism.

Hi there,

Exactly 1 yr ago I landed in Vancouver from Montreal to participate in the Tour du Canada. 72 days, from Victoria to st John's, 7700kms later we arrived. I would LOVE to join you all on this trip. How much do you think this trip will run for supplies etc? and And when are you planning on doing this? I'm free from July 30 - Aug 10. Let me know!

Just came across this post now and wondering if people are still interested in doing this. I have a week vacation from 6th of August and might be interested in joining. I have never cycled that kind of distance before but would love to challenge myself.

This already happened, didn't it?  I shipped my road bike with me.  Anyone know of a little Busan bike club, or a gang that is hoping to do this Seoul to Busan ride this year?

Hi Bonnaroo, A few of us are planning to do this trip over chuseok (5 days from 29th Sep. to 3rd October). We are meeting in Songdo on Sunday late afternoon to discuss the route. Message me if you're interested in joining us.
