2 Public School Positions in Beautiful Haenam for April! (shared accommodations)

The Jeollanamdo Office of Education (http://en.jne.go.kr/) is looking for a 2 enthusiastic individuals (friends or a couple) to fill 2 public school positions in picturesque Haenam (http://eng.haenam.go.kr/).

One position will be at Hwangsan Elementary and the other at Haenam High School. The accommodations will be a large shared apartment, fully furnished and within a short distance to the main area of town.


JOB DETAILS:

Contract Start Date: April 24th, 2012
Orientation at Shinyang Park Hotel (Gwangju): 1 week orientation starting April 17th (http://www.shinyangparkhotel.com/eng/) 
School Type: Elementary, high school
Contract Length: 1 year with option to renew at a higher salary.  A renewal allowance and extra week vacation will also be offered to contract extensions.
Salary: 2,000,000 – 2,700,000 Korean won per/month, depending on experience and qualifications
Vacation:  1 month
Sick days:  11 sick days
Schedule:  Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 5:00
Classroom Hours: 22 teaching hours per week. 
Additional teaching hours will be paid overtime.   There is also opportunity to earn extra money through teaching online classes, which we will personally train you for!  These classes are a lot of fun, and a great learning experience! 
Severance: One twelfth of yearly salary upon completion of contract.
National Pension:  Approximately one month’s salary for one year contract. 
Settlement Allowance: 300,000 Won
Housing: Furnished apartment will be provided by school, teachers pay for utilities.
Airfare: Entrance allowance of 1,300,000 Korean Won to cover airfare to Korea, and an Exit Allowance of 1,300,000 Korean Won to cover airfare home at the end of your contract.
