It's a new year.  My Grade 1's are now Grade 2's, my Grade 2's are out of my hair, and my Grade 1's are fresh out of middle school and don't know what to make of me.  I like that feeling of power.

So I'm going to reset at lesson 1 with my fresh batch of kids and continue on with my Grade 2's; since it's been two months since I last saw them I thought a review of important lessons would be a good way to start the term.

Review:

• Native Speaker will review facts about Native Speaker with students. 5 minutes.
• Native Speaker will review classroom rules with students. 5 minutes.
• Native Speaker will review classroom English with students. 5 minutes.
• Native Speaker will review Konglish with students. 5 minutes.
• Students perform Word Chain activity as a class.  20 minutes.
• Students perform Word Chain worksheet individually.  10 minutes.

Notes:

• The class wide word chain can backfire and the students could end up all the way back to the start of the chain.
