- Friends for sure. I've made some really great friends here. I honestly can't imagine leaving them.
- The gimbap place near my place. They know me and my buddy always order the same thing :)
- Getting around so easy. Back home it's car or almost nothin', but her the subway and buses are so easy to use.

I like the jimjillbang / saunas. I always feel so good afterward.

+1 jjimjilbang

- Food
- Good friends
- Good night life
- Easy money
- Easy lifestyle
- Lots of time for my hobbies
- Safe
- Cheap public transportation.

I'd love to live here longer if it were not for the lack of career advancement, the little things that bother me (spitting, xenophobia), the culture shock/homesickness and the pollution.

Omurice, dakgalbi and kimbap.

Cheap everything at events like Sports games. Driving my scooter on the sidewalk and through red lights, not having to talk to salesmen because they think I can't speak Korean. Safety, Free Home Delivery, no tipping, fast shipping....on and on and on.

Potato soup (without the potato, but with is fine) aka pork bone soup

According to my co-teacher (the only person I've spoken to on the subject), the 감자 in the word 감자탕 does not refer to potatoes, but is a different word/homonym.
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me.

Maybe it's  the time of year, but I've been developing an appreciation for convenience store snacks lately.  My friend turned me on to shrimp  chips, which are awesome!  I also like sweeter snacks like chocolate  Binch cookies and those digestive biscuits.  Those are the bomb! Of course,  kim pop is a wonderful, more healthy snack, when you're in a hurry too. :)

Binches, man... Binches.  :P

Our immaturity led to those being the cookie of choice at my hagwon the first year I was here.

Jipo? That pressed fish anju thing you grill yourself. My god it is so good

Also, ski resorts. I'm from Australia and there's a distinct... lack of snow cover and long ski runs.

Public transportation! I don't want to have to own a car at this point in my life, and in Korea, it seems like it would be more of a hassle to have a car than to not own one.

Where I live is fantastic for taking the scooter out. I can't wait for winter to end so I can get back out on the weekends. It's fantastic being able to drive along the coast for hours without being on busy motorways

I admit I'm one of those who didn't expect to enjoy Korea as much as I do. I first arrived here as a sort of last-ditch effort to work abroad, and now I'm happily looking forward to year #2...

I love the simple transportation systems. The service! The food! No tips! Street markets and little fake Parisian bakeries... Korea's got a lot to offer

Yeah, that's definitely a good one. Cars can be such high-maintenance (especially in cold weather, I DO NOT miss having a car in cold weather).
