Lesson 8 Speak Out Part 1:
Can you swim?
Sure, I can.

(can/can't: Expressing ability)

Can You~!? Challenge:
Ss go around the room and play ROCK PAPER SCISSORS.
The winner can ask the loser a "Can you~?" question.
The loser responds with:
"Sure (Yes), I can."
OR
"No, I can't."
Depending on losers answer, Ss moves to the next space.
Goal is to reach the END block.
NOTE: Ss must write the name of the person they interviewed and colour or highlight the answer the loser gave.

Word Search Puzzle:
Self explanatory. I got the words from "MissC's" post that has the official lesson plpan and words list.

Here is a "Whack a mole" game to go with part one: Can you swim?

I also taught the expression "Are you good at" and had the students use the expressions to create dialogues.

I'm kind of sure that I've posted this before, as I made this in 2010 already, but seeing that this one says that THIS is the thread for it......why not post it again.

It deals with the listening and speaking part of the lesson. (Used it for an open-class)
