Finding a Chiropractor
« on: December 14, 2010, 01:47:51 PM »
Has anyone here been to a chiropractor in Seoul? I've done an internet search and found Sky Wellness and Create Wellness, but when I called Create they said they do not accept the national healthcare....I really need an adjustment!

I went to the place that's in the same BLDG as the Itaewon Global center. I think it was about 40,000 for a treatment. I was pretty happy with it!

chiropractic care is not covered under insurance. i go to create wellness in itaewon, it is 53,000 a session. you can sign up
for a package where they give teachers 25% discount and you can pay in installments.

Since moving here I haven't seen a chiropractor but I've went to acupuncture - it's only about 5,000 won per session! (it includes a massage bed, muscle stimulators and the acupuncture.. it all ends up taking about 1 hr.. )
Very relaxing!

I don't know where the itaewon global center is.  Can you give better directions or a phone number?!

There is a great Palmer-educated chiropractor in Seoul (he's also a western-educated M.D.). His name is Steven Song, and he brought me back from an L4-L5 hernia in 2007. He's miraculous.

He's at CNS Clinic. Daechi Station, 2nd floor above the Starbucks. If you sit in the last car of the subway train, you'll be closer to the exit escalator when you get off
(I think it's exit 8 ).

I don't know about a chiropractor, but there are tons of oriental medicine doctors around, and sometimes they can do acupunture or adjustments. I know my wife and I saw one and it was extreamly relaxing.

http://www.createwellnesscenter.com/locations/

Create wellness center - midway down this page there's a map.
Basically, exit #2 then walk and walk... past the body shop, crazy burger, etc. When you reach Buy The Way enter the doors on the right of it. It's the same building as the International Clinic (I believe). On the 1st floor.

I've been using them since 2007.  Besides Dr Yoo (who's mainly at the other office) I find Dr. Willliam Choi the best :-)

It's pricey but worth it if you're in pain. They might talk a lot about massage service but never used other services except pilates/therapy sessions.

Good luck!

Found this on KoreaBites.com.  Itaewon Wellness has English-speaking chiropractor.  Too bad I missed out on this deal!
